Hitch-mount bike racks that will be used on a motorhome must be specially built and must be rated specifically for that application. The reason is that at the rear of a MH there will be greater vertical and lateral stresses applied to the rack than when it is mounted on a car's hitch. The only difference between the Mount-n-Lock Safety Struts # MO34VR and # MO22FR you were looking at is the hardware used to attach them. The # MO34VR uses nuts and bolts where the # MO22FR uses self tapping screws.

If you have never used a brake controller before, the P2 # 90885 will be easier to learn on and use than the P3, # 90195. The P3 has several features the P2 doesn't though including the ability to change the LED screen color, change the language, and the biggest difference is the diagnostics. Instead of flashing a code you would have to look at the P3 has clear messages telling you what the problem is. So there is a trade-off there.
